Can I add notes to my emotions?
Yes! You can add personal notes to any emotion you log. Notes help you provide context, track triggers, or record your thoughts about the emotion. Like emotions, notes can be added, edited, or deleted within the same time period.
How do I edit or delete notes?
To edit a note, click the pencil icon next to the emotion. To delete a note, hover over it and click the X icon that appears. Remember, you can only modify notes within the same time period they were created.
Can I edit or delete emotions I've logged?
Yes, you can edit or delete emotions within their respective time periods on the same day. Once a time period has passed or the day is over, the emotions become permanent records.
What are the time periods for logging emotions?
The day is divided into three periods: Morning (5:00 AM - 11:59 AM), Afternoon (12:00 PM - 4:59 PM), and Evening (5:00 PM - 11:59 PM).
Why can't I delete an emotion I logged earlier?
To maintain accurate emotional records, you can only modify emotions within their current time period on the same day. This helps ensure the authenticity of your emotional journey.
How do I view my past emotions and notes?
You can view your emotional history in two ways: through the Calendar view, which shows a monthly overview with all emotions and notes, and the Reports section, which provides analytical insights into your emotional patterns.
What do the different colors mean?
Each emotion category has a distinct color: Yellow for Happy, Purple for Surprised, Orange for Fearful, Red for Angry, Blue for Sad, and Green for Bad feelings. These colors help you quickly identify different emotion types.
Can I filter specific emotions or categories?
Yes, you can use the filter dropdown to show or hide specific emotion categories. This helps you focus on particular aspects of your emotional experience.
How private is my emotional data?
Your emotional data, including all notes and records, is completely private and can only be accessed by you. We use secure authentication to ensure that only you can view and manage your emotional records.
Can I export my emotional data?
Currently, you can view your data through the app's interface. We're working on adding export functionality in a future update.
What should I do if I miss logging emotions for a day?
To maintain accuracy, you can only log emotions within their respective time periods on the current day. If you miss a day, simply continue logging from the current day forward.
How does the gratitude feature work?
The gratitude feature allows you to log multiple things you're grateful for each day. Simply type what you're grateful for and press Enter to save. You can edit or delete entries by clicking on them. What is the daily journal for?
The daily journal helps you reflect on three key aspects of your day: sleep hours, daily activities, and daily thoughts. This structured reflection helps you identify patterns between your sleep, activities, and emotional state. You can update your journal entry throughout the day.
How does the Ask AI feature work?
The Ask AI feature analyzes your emotions, gratitude entries, and journal data to provide personalized insights. You can ask questions like 'What patterns do you see in my data?' or 'How can I improve my emotional well-being?' The AI provides structured responses with insights, patterns, and recommendations based on your personal data.
Is my data used to train the AI?
No, your personal data is never used to train AI models or shared with external AI providers. The AI analysis happens securely within our system, and your data remains completely private. The AI only analyzes your data to provide insights specifically for you.
Can I see my gratitude and journal entries in the calendar?
Yes! The calendar view shows your complete wellness journey. You'll see gratitude entries marked with heart icons and can view detailed journal entries alongside your emotions when you switch to the detailed daily view.
How often should I use the gratitude and journal features?
For best results, try to use these features daily. The gratitude list can be updated throughout the day as you think of things you're grateful for. The journal is designed for end-of-day reflection, but you can update it anytime during the day.
What kind of questions can I ask the AI?
You can ask the AI about patterns in your emotional data, correlations between sleep and mood, trends in your gratitude practice, recommendations for improving well-being, or any insights about your personal wellness journey. The AI analyzes all your logged data to provide comprehensive answers.
Do I need to create an account to use all features?
You can use the emotion tracker without an account, but creating a free account unlocks the gratitude list, daily journal, AI insights, calendar view, and analytics features. Account creation only requires an email address and ensures your data is saved permanently.
